Greg James and The Casting Workshops provide you with such a great experience like no other place. Both Daniel(10 yrs old), and Kayla (8 yrs old) have built the confidence and received knowledge in all the TCW workshops and brought that experience in their audtions, which in turn helped them book feature films and TV episodes. Greg connects you with reputable, knowledgeable, and down to earth casting directors that provide a wealth of information both to children and parents alike, worth every penny! The kids always have so much fun and always anxious for the nexr workhop. We actually follow TCW to different regions and fly over, they are that worth it!" Thanks Greg and Krisha, looking forward to the next time!!!

I thought that the workshop was amazing. I had no idea that you should actually try to strike up conversation with the casting director. I especially liked the "bag o' crap" which I think is an extremely good idea. Already have my personal postcards that I plan to send out soon. As well, I thought that Krisha was extremely constructive and quite funny. I will invite her to be my friend. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to doing something else like this.

My daughter Mallory attended the Sat. afternoon workshop with Krisha and loved it! She said what she liked about it was that the talk from Krisha really helped her understand the other side. Mallory is 15 and has been acting since she was 5 years old. Mallory said that she never absorbed so much information at one time that really helped her understand what the casting directors where looking for and thinking about. It really helped her understanding of how things work after the audition process is over and all that goes into the decision making.

She felt the "Tools & Tips" where amazing along with the "Postcards" and "Bag of Crap!" They will help her to further her acting career forsure!

Thanks for offering such a great workshop and opportunity to work with Krisha!

The workshop with Krisha was very informative. As a parent, I really liked the period of questions/answers with Krisha. She is very to the point, and doesn't sugar coat an industry that is tough and very competitive. Gabrielle enjoyed those 3 hours. She took a lot of notes which she read to us. She said it was very interesting and she was going to apply everything she learned. She liked Krisha a lot and hope to meet her again someday.

    definitely worthwhile!!

I was in the Saturday workshop from 2-5, I talked about my volunteer trip to Ecuador :)
I really enjoyed the workshop! Krisha is super nice and had many helpful hints. She was honest about how difficult it can be to break into the industry yet, she was still incredibly encouraging. Also, I liked how we were able to audition and then hear her comments. Overall, I thought it was great :) Both of you were so kind and I felt really comfortable during the workshop. Thank you!
    Have a nice day

My daughters enjoyed Krisha's workshop very much. Children received
good direction and feedback. They were given instructions on what to
prepare for auditions and were told how to promote themselves as
professionals. At the end of the session each child was given a
personal (written) assessment, and clever ideas to keep them inspired
to work hard to reach their goals. I appreciated the honest approach
to Krisha's answers during the parent question period. Krisha speaks
very realistically about the business which is important for both
parents and child actors to hear.
Sincerely, Joanne (Mom of Actresses in training)

Stefan had a great time listening to Krisha Bullock and all the valuable tips and information she had to share with the class. Stefan found the worshop very helpful and insightful.

We look forward to more workshops in the future. Please do keep us in your roster and do not hesitate to contact us in the future.
  • Heather 2011-11-10 12:23:08
The workshop was excellent. It was well worth the investment of time and money (and we came from out of town, so it was a big investment of time!). Madelyn had a lot of fun and learned a lot, and we especially liked the Q&A session with parents because we learned some very valuable information as well!

We would be thrilled if you brought Howard Meltzer here for a workshop! I saw on your website that we was doing a workshop in Georgia and we toyed with the idea of going all that way, but the timing isn\\\'t right for us, so it would be fabulous if he came to Toronto!

Thanks again to you and Krisha for putting together the workshop!
  • Frances 2011-11-10 12:20:46
Both kids came and said that the seminar was outstanding. They learned points and took intiative to write out what they learned. Trust me they never want to write notes. They enjoyed watching other students act their lines. They could connect with Krisha and enjoyed being with her. I, myself loved the parent talk - you could tell she was being honest about her viewpoints and gave some valuable insight to parents of child actors. I also valued Larissa's surprise talk to the parents. Every insight was so valuable and well worth the experience in enrolling our child and being able to listen in the last 20 minutes.
Thank you so much for bringing her to town and I hope you do more as I can tell you are associated with people who have a ton of experience and knowledge to share.
  • Tanya 2011-11-10 12:19:14
My daughter Arielle Luder said it was the best workshop she has ever been to. She learned so much and she would go to any other workshop that came to Toronto. Thank you so much the wonderful experience.
    Kind regards,
    Tanya Luder

  • sandra Edmondson 2011-11-10 11:47:08
I have to say, my son is Mathew Edmondson had the time of his life! He learnt a lot, and was truly inspired! He came out with even more confidence and hunger to become the best actor he can be.
I also felt a very personal touch to this workshop. It was very informative for both Mathew and myself. He would love to attend more workshops in the future! I would trust your recommendation on other future workshops. I beleive that no matter how good a child actor is, they can never have enough training.
Thank you Krisha and eveyone who helped put this workshop together, for everything! Hope you had a safe trip back to L.A.
    Sandra and Mathew Edmondson

June 7, 2011 10:45 am

What really struck Howard the most about this region is how well the kids made some great choices in their scenes and the parents asked alot of intelligent questions in the Q&A

    Hello Greg,

Thank you for the follow-up to the workshop. I was very impressed with the quality of time both you and Howard took with the parents and then our children. Olivia had a great time and the feedback that Howard provided to her was extremely helpful. In the past several years I have not encouraged Olivia’s dream of getting into acting. I have felt unsure of how to make the right connections and also how to prepare her for the rejection she would have to face. Hearing the answers to all the parents questions and seeing Olivia’s enthusiasm afterward has made me realize how much this fits her personality and reassured me that she should at least give it her best shot! Thank you for bringing the workshop to Spokane, it was informative and yes, fun, for the kids! Job well done!!!

    Thanks again,

    Charlotte Nemec
  • Sami G 2011-06-07 16:56:12
Thank you and please thank Howard for spending time with our kids in Coeur d Alene. I am very thankful for the opportunity to ask the questions and get information that otherwise wouldn't have been available.
  • D.J Schultz 2011-06-07 16:54:45

Thanks to you and Howard for last Saturdays session. Evan really enjoyed it and he said he learned a lot from both you and Howard.

The main thing for us as as parents is for Evan to have fun and Saturday was a fun 3 hours.
  • Hailey Gilbert 2011-06-07 10:53:16
Hi this would be Haliey.... The crazy girl who danced to Justin BIeber with you! Haha I enjoyed both you and Howard so much! I loved having the opportunity of knowing what it would be like to audition for a Casting Director. Thank you so much for coming to Spokane especially on the terms of hearing that there were scams going on in our area. It was nice to finally go to something and get something back. :) Thank you again! But seriously, thank you for coming just out of the goodness of your hearts! It meant alot to all of us for you both to take time out of your busy schedules to help teach some northwest-small towners like us! :)

Keep being awesome and keep in touch when you can!

Paul and Greg are fantastic. The experience was like a semester acting class condensed into five fast-paced hours. While the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, the critique and feedback was intense. Paul is funny, approachable, and dead-on insightful--I'd recommend the class to anyone.
  • Tony 2011-05-19 18:10:17
Loved it, He was very down to earth and informative!!!
  • Jade Metcalf 2011-05-19 14:06:51
Another high caliber workshop! Really felt it was time well spent. Paul brought good insights and information, and helped me stretch as an actor. He wanted something specific from my performance and did a good job of coaching me with direct feedback. I left feeling I had room to grow, and the ability to make that growth happen. Thanks!
  • Maya Sayre 2011-05-19 12:27:50
A professional actor is always improving their craft, and the Paul Weber workshop is the place to do just that.
Paul's wealth of experience provides a unique opportunity for actors of all levels to learn from one of the industry's best. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to improve their audition technique and increase their understanding of the casting process. Paul is incredibly personable, knowledgeable and accessible, and I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to participate.
  • Christine King 2011-05-18 10:49:25
Paul was exciting! He took the stuffiness out of auditioning and opened the room up for strong choices and learning. I am so very lucky to have been apart of this workshop and I am extremely encouraged to continue pursuing my dreams, not matter where they may lead. Thank you Paul and thank you Greg!!!
  • Chelsea Lambacher 2011-05-17 13:29:49
This workshop with Paul is definitely worth your money and time! It was so nice to hear things from a casting directors point of view and it was nice to learn more about auditioning. Paul really gives you a lot of important information that many people are not given. As we all were performing our skits, it was so fun to just let loose and see what others can do. If you are thinking about taking a workshop with Paul, DO IT! I promise you will not be disappointed. Thank you Greg and Paul for this incredible opportunity! Hope to see you both again in the future!
  • Dylan George 2011-05-16 05:48:22
This was the most amazing workshop I have ever attended. Paul Weber is brilliant and the information he provided was crucial to anyone who is serious about being in the business. As an actor of 18 who is just getting started, I feel way ahead of the curve now that I am armed with this info. I cannot recommend this workshop with more enthusiasm!!! Every single actor/casting/director or whatever you are should definitely participate in this once in a lifetime opportunity! Thanks Paul Weber and Greg James!!! Hopefully I will get to work with you in the future!
  • John Michael Stubbins 2011-05-16 05:16:16
Paul & Greg know their stuff! I am thrilled I was able to be a part of the workshop. Thanks to both of them may not be enough. The importance of a current headshot that looks like you, means everything. Bringing your "A" game to any audition is always a smart move but without the right photo, there is no guarantee of an audition to begin with. So these two things go hand in hand for me, plus were the major items that needed to be refreshed into my mind at the workshop. As a working Actor who gets hired, I really thought I didn't "need" a new headshot. I have used the same headshot for roughly 12 years now. I had the theory stuck in my mind that meeting a Director, Producer, CD - face to face was the real determining factor in whether you book the job or not. Make no mistake, it does matter but so does the right headshot. After Paul & Greg showed me WINNING headshots and explained why they are winning headshots - I got it! Imagine how much work I will get with the new photos I am going to get now. I am convinced this will increase my visability and this will only give me more/stronger opportunities in film & TV. Nothing wrong with more chances to get in front of the Director's and Producers out here, that are searching for talent. I know that for me, it means I will be working more and more now. I look forward to reporting back on this because that light went on for me with Paul & Greg. These two pro's tell it like it is. Fun to work with and cut directly to the essence of what it is we do - plus what matters most! I am excited about continuing to work with Paul & Greg. If you are serious about the Actors craft - do yourself a favor and check this class out ASAP. I am grateful!
  • Matt Starr 2011-05-15 13:39:30
This was one of the most practical and fun workshops I've ever taken. I left Mr. Weber's session knowing exactly what I have to work on to get noticed - so much that I'm actually looking forward to my next audition. This workshop was worth every penny.
  • DK 2011-05-15 11:15:20
This was a great experience, anyone who is serious about acting should go.
  • Ginny Cipolla 2011-05-15 11:15:11
Working with Paul was an extremely positive experience. He is very honest without being abrasive. Paul gave us definite "tools for our toolbox" to be successful as an actor. Everyone had a chance to do a scene and receive solid, useful feedback from Paul. Paul goes over one's headshots as well as one's acting ability in the scene that he had us each do. Greg and Paul provided a comfortable and relaxed setting for one to grow and expand as a performer. I highly recommend Paul Weber's class.
  • Christopher Landauer 2011-05-15 08:37:02
This workshop was very informative and a whole lot of fun. As someone who is new to acting, I learned so much from hearing about the audition process from a Casting Director, watching other actors perform, hearing constructive feedback, and then getting up there and performing myself.

The workshop was set up so that it was educational for actors at all levels. It was hands-on and designed to resemble a real audition setting so that each of us could feel what it is like in an actual audition.

Thank you to Greg and Paul for sharing your knowledge of the acting business with us.
  • Mike Taliercio 2011-05-15 08:03:20
This was a very educational experience - better yet it was fun and entertaining! Paul has so much experience and insight into how actors can increase their chances of landing a role on the first audition and if you should get a callback. I'd take it again!
  • Bill Koruna 2011-05-15 07:30:37
I am returning to acting after a timeout. The workshop seemed like a good place to start. Naturally i wondered can i do this again. I was nervous. I made mistakes and received helpful feedback. The professional advice makes my return much smoother. I now feel ready to develop a new resume and face my first audition. I recommend Paul and Greg to anyone who is serious about acting in any market. They just tell you things one has to know!

ZAC had a great time...He enjoyed the experience because it was not a paid audition. It will be a great inclusion on his resume' and perhaps, maybe sometime in the future, Howard will go back through his files and remember him. In the meantime, we'll work on strengthening ZAC's acting, dance, vocal & guitar training.

    Good Morning Mr. James,
I just wanted to thank you and Mr. Meltzer for the awesome workshop yesterday, it was good to have a legitimate source of experience come our way, there is just so much of the other out there! My daughter Lauren enjoyed the workshop so much that she wanted to return back today for more. We are actually scheduled today to attend the workshop beginning at 2:00 p.m. but due to a mix up in time yesterday, we showed up for the 2:00 p.m. workshop, which is what time I thought the Musical Workshop was beginning, and you were kind enough to allow us to stay and sit in for the 2:00 p.m. workshop and then to attend the singing workshop immediately following.
I hope that I may e-mail you and Mr. Meltzer from time to time for advise. Thanks again, and best regards for all of yours and Mr. Meltzer's future endeavors. I hope you and Mr. Meltzer get to get out of that hotel, you guys just really need to get out more!
    Best wishes,
    Karen Santana
